For upper body protection, protective clothing should be worn in the closed state
This brush-clearing suit is designed to protect the upper body of the user from Asian hornets (Vespa velutina), but does not offer protection for the lower torso (which must be protected by the user with clothing specifically designed for brush-clearing tasks). If you require full protection, we recommend reviewing our full-body anti-Asian hornet suits.
Recommendations against misuse:
This PPE should never be used against risks other than those described above. Misuse of the garments may impair their performance.
When the garment consists of two pieces, the user must wear them together to achieve the appropriate level of protection. (In this case, gloves and hood).
Tears must not be repaired by the user. Altering the garment’s design is not permitted.
Screen printing or transfers are not permitted after the suit has been made, as they compact the padding, resulting in a lower thickness that does not protect against bites. If you require customization, contact us before placing the order.
The lifespan will depend on the use of the PPE, maintenance, storage, etc.
Washing recommendations:
Maximum temperature of 40°C.
Hand wash the hood
Do not bleach. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.
